The Rex cinema in the market town of beautiful Berkhamsted is a Wonderful piece of architecture designed in the Art Deco style. My intention was to paint a very realistic illustration of this beautiful place, however painting in the middle of my living-room, my children got involved and it became a jungle, playful version of the Rex.
